Stuttgart Valley Rollergirlz is Germany's first Roller Derby league founded in spring of 2006. When 7 young women had the vision that they want to play Roller Derby, barely one person in Germany had ever heard of this sport nor took the idea seriously. But these ladies had a mission and despite all obstacles like having no place to train they worked hard and finally succeeded!

At the moment our league consists of 50 members, growing steadily. We train 4 times a week and are constantly looking for new girls from all kinds of backgrounds and lifestyles to join. Even though this sport has a certain taste of Rock'n'Roll, there is no prototype for a rollergirl. All women that are interested should feel free to get in touch with us or just show up at one of our trainings. Skating skills are not required, ladies, so this is not an excuse.

We work hard on enlarging our league and on spreading the idea of this great sport throughout Germany. In spring of 2007, we held Europe's first bout, which has been a huge success. Since then, we organized and took part in numerous bouts in Germany and abroad.
All our personal work paid out in December 2010 when we won the first German Championships in Berlin. Together with the other German leagues, we work on building up a team for our country to participate in the first Roller Derby World Cup in Toronto in December 2011.
To make this happen we are looking for sponsors and supporters. If you or your organization is interested in supporting this huge project, do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
